THE LIFE AND WORKS OF ADNAN OKTAR
"Born in Ankara in 1956, Adnan Oktar writes his books
under the pen name of Harun Yahya. He is a
world-renowned man of ideas. Ever since his university
years, he has dedicated his life to telling of the
existence and oneness of Almighty Allah, to
disseminating the moral values of the Qur’an, to the
intellectual defeat of materialist and atheist
ideologies, to propagating the real Ataturk way and to
defending the permanence of the state and the unity of
the nation. He has never wavered in the face of
difficulties and despite oppression from materialist,
Darwinist and separatist circles, still continues this
intellectual struggle today exhibiting great patience
and determination."
(ccun.org editor's note: Adnan
Oktar's treatment of the subject of evolution is
identical to the position of Evangelical Christians in
their anti-science position. In fact the evolutionary
theory is supported by the Holy Qur'an. See
Evolution in the Holy Qur'an).
Some
of the questions we will be asking Harun Yahya:
1.
A large part of your works consists of books
exposing the invalidity of Darwinism. Why do you
concentrate so much on Darwinism? What changes will take
place in the world when people see and admit the
invalidity of Darwinism?
2.
Your books about Judaism and Freemasonry attract
great interest. What kind of relationship is there
between Zionism, Judaism and Freemasonry?
3.
Are friendly relations between Muslims,
Christians and Jews possible? As you know, certain
circles predict a clash of civilizations. Is such a
clash inevitable? Can Muslims prevent such a clash?
4.
What do you think of the U.S. policy against
terror? Is a world from which terror has been eradicated
possible? How can that be achieved?
5.
There has been oppression going on in Palestine
for more than half a century. What kind of path should
Muslims follow in order for that oppression to come to
an end?
6.
Do you think there will be a positive change in
American foreign policy regarding the Islamic world
following the election of Barack Obama?
7.
What do you think of the
role of the Arab world with regard to Palestine? Do you
think the Arab world in its present state can resolve
the issue?
8.
What do you think of the
attempts to equate Islam with terror? How do you think
this image of Muslims in the Western world can be
eradicated?
9.
You concentrate
very much on the foundation of the Turkish-Islamic Union
and are one of the scholars who most emphasize the
subject. When do you think the Turkish-Islamic Union can
possible be established?
10.
One of the elements
attracting my attention on your web sites is your giving
the glad tidings of the return of the Prophet Jesus
(peace be upon him). A large part of Americans,
particularly the evangelicals, are also awaiting the
return of the Prophet Jesus (pbuh). Have you anything to
say to Americans on that subject? What kind of
environment must we establish at this time when we
anticipate the coming of the Prophet Jesus (pbuh)?
11.
Finally, do you have any
message for the American people and Muslims living in
America?
